The upcoming November 2nd Senate elections will give voters who were adversely affected by the delay of the passage of H.R. 4213 –‘Unemployment Extension’ bill into law a chance to show what they thought of their respective senator’s stand.
There is an active movement among the unemployed, and especially the long term unemployed, the 99ers, to remove those from office that have constantly hindered the passage of the Extenders bill.
Sites are springing up across the internet, seeking support from voters to help their cause, whether to vote against the incumbents, or to push for fairer dealings for the unemployed, especially those who are classed as 99ers or who might suffer from age discrimination when looking for work.
Several of these sites are listed below:

An active petition to remove the Republican incumbents can be found here at Change.org

I applaud you (and thank you) for supporting the gast-growing group of 99ers!!!
Let’s work on this together; collectively we can make a difference, I am certain of that much.

Appreciate the knowledge and hard work. My thanks.
This morning I had occasion to visit upon one of my old teacher’s planbooks from way back when. My classes were spending a wonderfully educational, entertaining week on pirates. One of my favorite – how ironic, now – portraits is by the classic by artist, Howard Pyle, entitled “Marooned.” Legend (and history) shares that a pirate who was disgraced might well be ‘marooned’ on a small treeless atoll or spit of sand that would disappear with the tide. He was given water for one day and a pistol, with enough powder and lead to take his own life. Burn up with equatorial sun or chance sharks for a swim of who-knows-how-many sea miles to civilization. Or….as expected (you would think), he would accept the inevitable and blow his brains out. But pirates were loathe to take their own lives. It brought even more sin in the afterlife and cursed his entire family, past, present, and future. What was a pirate to do? All options were fatal and torturous to one’s soul.
I found Pyle’s masterpiece (Google it) and it brought back memories of teaching and the kids. But it also smacked me hard to look at it now and realize that my government has marooned me. But, mine was no disgrace. Forty-plus years of work, all taxes paid. 99 weeks of unemployment benefits is 1/22 of my career in the private and public workplaces. So as I head to SS in a few years, 4.5% of my labors were “returned” to me. If my country was a baseball player, it’s batting average is .045.
I’m sure with all the enterprising and talented cartoonists there are in America someone will (if they haven’t already) draw a cartoon based on Pyle’s theme as the 99ers are left marooned while the ship sails away over the horizon.
Charles Schumer-his office states he is tired of fighting for 99ers.
Tired? Shall I state what I could, about HIM, being too tired?
Will he have a bed to sleep in, roof over his head, electric, phone, medical, water….when he goes home to rest?
Many 99ers will not….but he needs his rest.
Reid, Brown, Stabenow, and the rest that brag on camera they are for the 99ers…yet waiting for the bill to be introduced.
Hey, got news for ya……YOU should be writing and introducing the damn bill!
Apparently while stating you are for us, you are actually telling us you think we 30 million are so stupid….that we do not know what you are waiting for….IS IN YOUR JOB DISCRIPTION!!!
Or is there a tiny ‘write the bill fairy’ out there that just needs a tiny bit more of magic dust to finish it?
Maybe Obama should take one minute, STOP patting his own back….and REALLY take action.
If he passed a tier 5—he would not have to plaster his face and pat his own back, EVERY DAY on TV. THE PEOPLE would be applauding for him!
‘Getting’ the message….
But…..lets discuss votes.
REAL unemployment is 30%.
We are in a depression, no matter how you try to candy coat it.
Hmmmmm…VOTES.
30% of 300 million people in the USA.
Take THAT figure and double it to include spouses, better halves, etc.
Then add (of age) children who vote, grandparents, uncles, aunts, and friends still employed…witnessing the heartache of their loved ones, who are unemployed. Tiers 1, 2, 3, 4, KNOW they will become a 99er.
The Repubs are known as the party of no. We have watched them every day on CSPAN. They can not fool the unemployed with their illusions and lies. We witnessed the process every day they kept dragging their feet and voting no.
Derogatory statements by all.
Republicans will not get the votes…UNLESS…their opponent- is an incumbent.
HOW WILL THEY ALL VOTE>>>>>>
The Repubs will get the win….BUT….
in the NOvember election….the Dem running against them….will win the ELECTION.
Do not mistake, the Repubs will not win the elections.
The 99ers gave THEM 99 plus weeks to fix the problem. THEY failed miserably.
THEY forgot they work for us. AMERICANS!
The unemployed will go NOvember in droves, to hand THEM…..THEIR pink slips.
Welcome to the unemployment line.
We are waiting……over here…..look close at the tent cities….they are there…see them? Welcome.
Welcome to America.
Are you happy you helped sell America down the river?
The 99ers have been considered the parasites feeding off of road kill. Not only by those still employed through their inner fear they could become one of us—-but the current unemployed who will certainly become one of us.
I ask of you skeptics, when someone calls or visits YOUR place of employment and asks if you are accepting applications for employment…exactly WHAT is your response? The answer tells the truth.
And if truth be told, the answer is no.
Those being helped through this 4213 bill, will be falling off of those tiers, to become 99ers…millions before elections.
Yet the politicians are trying to BUY your votes, by extending them JUST THROUGH NOvember. Elections are????????????
THEN not only the 99ers, but the unemployed in whole, will be SOL.
Unemployment in today’s economy, should extend until the unemployment figures are under 6.5%.
This would not only extend a life line to the unemployed, but enable them to pay their bills, to keep those still employed, employed.
If they are continuously denied benefits, YOUR job WILL be affected. Even if you work for your relatives.
Gulf residents=BP PAY THEM NOW! It has been a month.
Unemployed with tiers=PAY THEM NOW! Stop being heartless, they have not seen help for 2 months.
99ers=go to hell……no help for SEVERAL MONTHS!!!!
The 99ers will be waiting with sharp pitch forks.
We will hang our WELCOME sign.
You need to act IMMEDIATELY to help the 99ers. This action is dire for million of AMERICANS. The politicians need to stop helping every one else, and concentrate on their own back yards.
Were you not taught simple kindergarden rules?
Yet 30 MILLION AMERICANS are out of work, with 16.5 MILLION AMERICANS (99ers) with absolutely no life line until this fiasco is over.
Hence, the politicians can only argue over extending tax breaks for the very rich.
While allowing those that made the richest their fortunes, live in tents and their children go hungry right here in AMERICA!
Yes, I said it…the rich would not be rich if it were not for their employees sweat.
Hide all of the 99ers and their families who are suffering.
BP-how dare you, it has been a month, and you have not helped them.
Unemployed-how heartless you have held the extension vote up for two months.
99ers-Absolutely no lifeline for MONTHS….but they can all go to hell. There will be no help for them.
Let them lose their homes, autos, 401K, pensions, savings, and let them and their families sleep in tents—over there—hidden in the trees….so we can not see them or their children crying for food.
Look away….
Lets listen again, as Michelle O., GW, and Clinton beg for money to Haiti. Which they recieved without a blink!
Not only a sham…..but what an utter shame.
AMERICAN VOTERS, along with their family members and friends that are REALLY feeling the hunger and hell here in AMERICA…..will show how happy they are come NOvember.
REMEMBER…you used your last time before going on summer vacation….to argue over the rich staying richer.
The poor YOU have made….leaves too much of a bitter taste….so yes sir! Lets talk about the beautiful rich!!!!!!!!!!!!!
THAT will surely keep the attention away from the REAL hell, here in AMERICA and its AMERICANS!!!!!!!!!
Pepper99, What a great vision of what is reality today. I applaud your realization from something to something now.
Our vote is what will sound out the loudest to these people. Please get out and vote if you cant in primary at least do it in NOV. Its the best shot you have and you only have ONE BULLET!
I say lets ALL join ALQEADA!!!!!!!!!!! USA aka KMA
